Everly Oak & The Sierra Dress

Happy Monday & first day of spring everyone! I was extra tired for some reason this morning and wanted to officially kick off the season so I wore a little (or sort of big) pop of yellow! You guys, this dress is probably one of my favorite “for work” purchases in  a long time. It is so affordable and the fit is so flattering and these sleeves are amazing. I can totally see this Everly Oak dress on repeat in the office and at Happy Hour all spring/summer.

I told you all in a post last week about my new found love for yellow and I seriously think I have an addiction. Not long after getting tons of yellow from Loft, I found this dress. I happened to get this the day it sold out –  but i hear a restock is on its way! I styled this dress with a pair of pumps and my favorite Stella & Dot necklace for a chic office look. It would also be so cute with a pair of fun earrings (think tassel or drop earrings) and a jean jacket.This would give you an effortless transition into date night or happy hour. The great thing about this dress (aside from its gorgeous color) is the price. Not only is this dress just $40 but it is the perfect pick for Easter. Sidenote: I am always a little nervous ordering dresses online because sometimes the fit is so different that I have to size up for my top or bottom 🙂 but this dress fits like a glove. I would say it definitely runs true to size (I’m wearing a medium) and is the perfect length.

I also wanted to talk for a second about Everly Oak. Seriously, this online boutique is AMAZING! I just recently became aware of the site and I am loving it. It was created by Leah (a blogger) and is extremely on trend & so cute! I see this site as having the perfect blends of  chic, sophisticated, and feminine. I’ve found that their clothes and accessories are not only amazing quality but very affordable and each piece would be flattering on any body type. I am currently obsessing over there sunnies & tassel earrings and plan on ordering them today! It is truly impossible not to find something you LOVE!

 Who else is so happy it is finally spring? I know I am! Yesterday was seriously the perfect spring day in Oklahoma. Russell & I spent the whole day outside running and playing sports. I even  got a tad burnt which is so rare for me but totally worth it. Waking up to the birds chirping and the warm weather today made it that much harder to head to work.
