Off the Shoulder Dress (I recommend sizing up to wear as a dress) // Wedges // Sunnies // Engraveable Bar Necklace (Silver)
I love spring, especially spring fashion. This is probably one of the easiest of the seasons to shop for. The weather is just warm enough that dresses and shorts are the perfect option, but you can still rock a pair of jeans without being too hot. The other amazing thing about spring is how affordable it can be to build up a killer wardrobe. I am sure you have seen bloggers repeatedly posting insanely cute dresses under $40 or cute tanks & tops (even from brands like free people) under $30. I get so excited when I am able to find a steal and I don’t feel as guilty if I only wear it once or twice.
Even with all of the overwhelming choices, this season can be so easy to shop for. One of the great things about it is how easy the pieces are to transition into summer just by changing changing into shorts, throwing on sandals, or taking off a jacket. I try to buy at least one great pair of shorts a season to mix in with my older ones. It is a great way to update and add to your spring/summer wardrobe while saving money to spend on your tops/dresses.
My favorite part about spring shopping is that great pieces can be found everywhere, for every style, and in every price. I recently found the cutest rompers & kimonos at target while shopping for groceries (seriously while grocery shopping? No idea how i ended up there 🙂 ). Pieces that I can definitely see myself rocking on the patio this spring.
My Take on Spring Dresses
I really like to mix my wardrobe up with pieces that are stylish and affordable (think SHEIN & Target) with more expensive pieces that can be worn every day or year after year. As much as I love my jean shorts in the spring, I end up living in dresses. They are perfect just to throw on and go. The past couple months have been so busy so I usually find myself in a hurry when I am dressing. With options like t-shirt dresses you can find one for even the most casual occasion.
To help you get the most for your money this spring and to share my love for dresses, I’ve linked a few of my favorites all ranging from $13-50. This will help you to maximize your wardrobe while still saving money. I also linked a few of my more expensive favorites in case you are in the mood to splurge :).
