Lately, I fee l like I have been living for the weekends. With the stresses of work picking up and obligations the past couple of weeks it seems like I haven’t found the time to unwind. I am a full believer that your mental health + wellness is just as important as your physical but for me it’s almost harder to do. It can be hard to find the time to just do nothing, to put away your phone, cancel your plans, & just take time for YOU. So I challenged myself to spend one night this weekend before heading to Tulsa to do just that. Here are the 4 things I am using to unwind this weekend.
You guys, this is going to be a great Monday! Not only is the Bachelor on tonight, but the Loft 40% off (everything) sale was extended. I have always loved Loft. They have the cutest clothes and they are always running amazing deals. Not to mention the spring new arrivals are AMAZING. All of it is totally on trend for this spring and there are styles for everyone. I have picked a few of my favorites and linked the ones I ordered/bought here. Use the code “NEWNOW” at checkout.
Its Sunday! That means another weekend has come to an end. I don’t know about you, but for me Sunday’s mornings are definitely not as bright or as welcomed as Saturday’s. So, to help brighten them up, every Sunday I will post steals and deals showcasing some of my favorite sales happening now or amazing deals I find.
I wanted to share this little weekend traditions with y’all. I have always sat down for a little bit on sunday to shop. I think it helps make Sunday’s a little less blue when you can get excited about what’s coming in the mail that week :). So here are my top 6 picks!
Confession: I have always LOVED drinking water. But after starting my job in a corporate office that offers a free soda fountain (YUM), I found it hard not to automatically reach for a soda any time I was thirsty/bored/tired etc. (Especially since the water fountain was further away). A couple months in, I started finding that my drive to workout was shrinking and I was getting headaches when I went without caffeine. I decided I needed to make a change.
Over the past few months, I have found a few easy ways to start drinking more water at the office and now I hardly ever reach for that soda. One of the main things my friends/family ask me is how I was able to cut it out. Believe me it wasn’t easy, but these simple tricks helped.
